The 2013 Saint Louis Auto Show Pistons and Pearls Charity Gala was a huge success! Over 600 people attended the gala this year and they were not disappointed in the least. The outstanding band Accolade played classic hits as guests danced the night away, all the while enjoying Hors d’oeuvers, drinks and AMAZING cupcakes from the Cup!
A highlight of the evening was performance artist and You Tube sensation Dan Dunn as he painted 3 giant canvass art pieces that were auctioned off for charity. One of the pieces was of a St. Louis Cardinal batter, which was fitting considering it was painted on the evening of our beloved Stan “the Man’s” memorial. This year the total funds raised for the gala exceeded $100,000!
Thank you to everyone who came out to support these amazing charities: The Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis, Friends of Kids with Cancer, JDRF, Make-A-Wish Foundation, National Multiple Sclerosis Society, St. Louis Auto Dealers Charitable Foundation and TASK (Team Activities for Special Kids). A special “Thank You!” goes out to our sponsors: AutoSource St. Louis, First Innovations, Zurich, Clifton Larson Allen, McCarthy Leonard & Kraemmerer, L.C., and Freedom One Financial. We look forward to seeing you next year!
