Thanks for Making Cheers for Children Gala a Smashing Success!

This January, amidst the buzz of the 2010 St. Louis Auto Show, hundreds gathered at the America's Center to drink, celebrate and most importantly, raise money for some worthy causes in style.

Hundreds turned out to dance the night away to the sounds of DJ Mahf and Fresh Heir, raising more than $50,000.00 in the process, for charities such as the Herbert Hoover Boys & Girls Club, St. Louis Children's Hospital, Cardinals Care, Make-a-Wish Foundation, Team Activities for Special Kids (TASK), the St. Louis Auto Dealers Association Charitable Foundation and the gala's top ticket seller, the St. Louis Crisis Nursery.

PaintJam artist Dann Dunn also captivated the crowd with performances of his special blend of visual and performing art, later donating his work to the silent auction. In addition to Dunn's paintings, Gala attendees were given the opportunity to bid on autographed guitars from music icons like Taylor Swift, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Kenny Chesney, and Lynyrd Skynyrd, raising over $10,000.00.

An after party at Mosaic Lounge, Saint Louis's premier contemporary late night lounge, kept attendees moving and shaking into the wee hours of the night.
