Twenty-nine years ago Jim Butler opened his new Chevrolet Dealership in bustling Crestwood, Missouri. He had high hopes for his new enterprise and was anxious to see it grow and prosper…and boy has it!
The Jim Butler Automotive Group now includes St. Louis’ newest Chevrolet store with the Fall 2007 move to Jim Butler Chevrolet in the Gravois Bluffs in Fenton, Missouri. This sate-of-the-art, 35,000 sq. ft., 40 service bay dealership features all the latest in Chevrolet design and technology along with special customer-friendly convenience features. Branded as “the Powerhouse,” the Fenton store has already captured the distinction of being the fastest growing Chevy store in the entire state of Missouri.
The Automotive group also includes Saturn stores in West St. Louis County and South County. And the most recent additions, Jim Butler KIA and Jim Butler Mitsubishi located in Ellisville, Missouri.
Two other important family members are Jim’s daughter Jackie Dunne who runs the Saturn stores and Son-in-Law Brad Sowers who oversees Chevrolet, KIA and Mitsubishi.

To share his good fortune and give back to the community and help others, every year Jim promotes and sponsors the Jim Butler’s Charity Golf Classic to benefit the Herbert Hoover Boy’s and Girl’s Club.
