
General Sales Manager
The General Sales Manager ensures that the dealership meets its new and used-car and truck unit sales quotas and its gross objectives on a daily, monthly, and yearly basis. She/he will ensure that the retail and fleet units sold produce sufficient gross to aid the dealership in reaching its profit objective on a monthly and yearly basis. She/he will accomplish these objectives through planning, organizing, coordinating, and measuring the activities of the New and Used Vehicle Sales Departments.
Finance and Insurance Manager
The Finance & Insurance Manager is responsible for selling finance and insurance programs to new and used-car and truck customers.
New-Vehicle Sales Manager
The New-Vehicle Sales Manager is responsible for assisting the General Sales Manager in planning, organizing and controlling the activities of the New-Vehicle Sales Department and in measuring the performance of the employees in the department.
Used-Vehicle Sales Manager
The Used-Vehicle Sales Manager is responsible for maintaining a well-balanced used-vehicle inventory. She/he will be responsible for appraising, reconditioning, displaying, and merchandising the vehicles. She/he will set objectives for the department and accomplish them through planning, organizing, controlling, and measuring the performance of used-vehicle salespeople.
Marketing Manager
The Marketing Manager performs studies of the dealership's customer base and of the automotive retail market in the area. Using this information, she/he develops effective programs for soliciting business.
New-Vehicle Salesperson
The New-Vehicle Salesperson is directly responsible for selling new vehicles at dealership and customer satisfaction standards.
Used-Vehicle Salesperson
The used-vehicle salesperson is responsible for selling used vehicles at dealership and customer satisfaction standards. The position includes four broad areas of activity: personal work habits, prospecting, selling and follow-up.
Vehicle Leasing Representative
The Vehicle Leasing Representative sells vehicle-leasing services to businesses and individuals in accordance with established profit and customer satisfaction guidelines.
Showroom Receptionist/Greeter
The Showroom Receptionist/Greeter is a front-line representative for the dealership. She/he greets customers as they enter the showroom and directs them to the appropriate party in accordance with dealership policies, and answers basic inquiries.
Used-Vehicle Lot Porter
The Used-Vehicle Lot Porter moves and cleans vehicles, keeps the used vehicles in sound working condition, and helps the used-vehicle manager as requested.
