Two St. Louis Auto Dealer Association® Members Earn the Honda President’s Award

Congratulations to both Dave Mungenast St. Louis Honda and Bommarito Honda for receiving the 2009 Honda President’s Award.

 

For the twelfth year in a row, Dave Mungenast St. Louis Honda, 5939 S. Lindbergh in South County, earned the coveted award. This is Bommarito Honda’s, Lindbergh and I-270 in Hazelwood, second year at posting a perfect score. Out of 1,000 participating dealerships nationwide, only two in Missouri demonstrated the level of excellence required to earn the carmaker’s top honor.

 

Dave Mungenast St. Louis Honda was also recently honored with the following accolades – St. Louis Business Journal “Best Place to Work” award (among mid-sized businesses in St. Louis) and the largest Honda Volume dealer for 2009 and the past 15 consecutive years (as verified by American Honda)!

 

While proud of all of these accomplishments, earning the Honda President’s Award for the past 12 consecutive years is the most gratifying to St. Louis Honda because it is based largely on customer responses to manufacturer surveys regarding their experience at the dealership. 

 

Dave Mungenast, Sr., opened St. Louis Honda as a motorcycle dealer in 1965 with one simple rule: treat customers the way they want to be treated. He knew that honest business, excellent customer service and a solid product sold themselves, and profits were just a byproduct. Today the Mungenast Family and the associates of St. Louis Honda carry on this tradition and way of doing business.

 

Like St. Louis Honda, Bommarito Honda is a proud recipient of this year’s award. While Honda Motor Co. recognizes this achievement in excellence (in customer service and satisfaction, sales, training certification and facility operation) just once a year, the folks at Bommarito Honda work every day to earn it. To date, the dealership is on track to receive the designation again in 2010.
