A big thank you goes to Missouri lawmakers who declared their support for the state's auto dealers this legislative session.  State House and Senate members gave their approval to legislation designed to help motor vehicle dealers by changing the rules on how they work with automakers. The legislation revises a state law that focuses on the business relationship between vehicle dealers and manufacturers. Among several groundbreaking measures, the bill would increase the distance between dealerships. It also requires that owners of closed dealerships be offered the chance to run any new dealerships placed within two miles of the closed location.  To read a summary of the bill, click here.  To read the contents of the entire bill, click here.
